Nanna Biryani on Whitechapel Road takes its name from one of Old Dhaka's most famous biryani houses, and specialises in the kacchi biryani of the Bangladeshi capital, in which raw marinated meat and rice cook together slowly. Customers can eat in or take away. It is at the western end of Whitechapel Road, close to Aldgate East station and the East London Mosque, in the heart of London's Bangladeshi community.
