About
New Shalimar is a sit-down Indian restaurant on Chestergate, one of the main streets of Macclesfield town centre. Its name recalls the Shalimar Gardens laid out by the Mughal emperors. Chestergate leads into the town's old core, near the Silk Museum and other reminders of Macclesfield's silk-making heritage.
